We all love long and beautiful hair, right? But there are many amongst us who suffer from low hair growth. Choosing the right hair oil can be a great challenge so today I am sharing the recipe of DIY ginger hair oil.
Benefits of ginger for hair:
- Promotes hair growth and makes hair thicker.
- It conditions the hair leaving it soft and smooth.
- It reduces dandruff over time.
- Ginger root
- Coconut oil or any carrier oil.
Ginger hair oil recipe:
Grate 2 spoons of ginger and take it in a bowl. Add a half cup of coconut oil in it. Mix both the ingredients well and then boil the mixture for 5-10 minutes in low flame ( basically, you just need to fry the grated ginger in coconut oil). You will notice that after 5 minutes the colour of the oil will start to change. Turn off the gas and let it cool and when it has cooled down completely transfer it to a plastic bottle so that you can store it for future use.
For the application, massage this ginger oil on your scalp 3-4 hours before shampooing or you can also apply it the night before and wash your hair with a shampoo the next morning.
