Why Multi Masking Is Absolutely Genius?

Hi,

Don’t you ever feel like you are in a constant battle with your skin? Like trying out different masks to get the perfect and flawless skin? Wanting our skin to be glowing but not oily, acne free but not dry and some people it is hydrated skin but not sweat, you know what I mean right? The latest skin care trend of multi masking is driving all of us crazy. So let’s see what it really is and what are its benefits for our skin.

What is multi masking?

Multi masking is applying different kinds of masks on your face to target different skin problems. In this technique, we apply different kinds of masks on our face at the same time.

These days I guess no one has time to apply masks for more than once a day so, this technique comes handy as you don’t have to spend extra time for some other mask.

Well, this can only be done with masks that you can apply with your fingers or a brush. Can you imagine peeling off 5 peel off masks from your face altogether? No, it never happens.

Benefits of Multi Masking

  • Targeting different skin issues at the same time.
  • You can customise your own multi mask with different masks that you already own.
  • It’s perfect for people with combination skin.

What masks I apply?

On my T-zone: Well, my T-zone is super oily and I get acne very easily so to deal with it I use a DIY oil control clay mask. For making the mask I use two simple ingredients: Rose water and Multani mitti (Fuller’s earth).

Cheeks and chin: For the rest of my face I use a hydrating mask made with aloe vera, honey and gram flour (besan or chickpea flour). As rest of my face is dry I use this hydrating mask to bring back some moisture to my face.

What are the masks that you use?
